guide to Your first letter

How will your letters reach the elderly?

After your responses have been received and collated on Google Forms, they will be handwritten in both English and Chinese onto a red A6 paper which will be decorated with Chinese New Year Stickers. Your colorful letters will then be placed in an envelope to be delivered to Filos Community Services at Chai Chee. The staff of Filos will go door-to-door and delight the elderly residents of Chai Chee with the letters written by you!

Guidelines

  1. No vulgarities should be included.

  2. DO NOT provide personal information such as your phone number/home address.

  3. Avoid talking about religion/personal views.

  4. Your letters will be anonymous and so there will be no need for you to include your names.

  5. Use simple words that can be understood easily by the elderly.

  6. Be kind and thoughtful!

  7. Lastly, keep in mind the people you are writing to😊
